Sharkey's -
1023 Hwy 361, across from the Mariner Inn. Sharkey's is a favorite of the spring-break crowd and those looking to dance and watch people. You can enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and other "bar" food here. During the peak season, there's almost always live music and a good time to be had. In the winter, the Medicare band plays on Friday night and entertains the crowd with oldies, swing, polka, and other favorites of our beloved Winter Texans.

Shops at Port A Strip Center, this is an upscale classy bar
specializing in Martini's. Large Plasma TV's for sporting events.
Open 7 days a week. A great locally owned establishment for a must
night out in Port A.

821 Tarpon in the Flats. The "oldest and friendliest" in
Port A. with 60 years in business. They offer a unique atmosphere with
live music on the weekends. Open 10-2 everyday. They are a beer bar so
you can bring your own bottle if you want.

730 Trout Street in the Flats. Bernie's has a great atmosphere with live bands, great dance floor, and large bar with pool tables and games.

The Salty Dog -
203 N. Alister. Called The Coolest Honk Tonk
on the Gulf Coast, it offers live entertainment with all types of
music, karaoke, mixed drinks and cold beer. Open 12-2 everyday

The Back Porch Bar -
132 W. Cotter, located next to
Woody's Sports Center. Great live bands in an outdoor setting
overlooking the yacht basin. Terrific view, cold beer and live music,
what could be better! Open from the spring to the early fall.

323 Beach St . This is one of Port A's
best kept secrets. They have over 21 types of beer and great pizza.
Pool, darts and beltsander racing, The Gaff has something for everyone. It opens at 7 am daily.
